What I Bought

I got these 2 awesome key chain / bag charms at the Marc by Marc Jacobs store when I went shopping with my friend Hannah. I got both for $12! What a bargain!

I've been looking for a belt that would wrap around me twice, and I finally found one at the thrift store the other day for $3. The faux barbed wire bracelet was $1 at some halloween superstore. I used to have a red one when I was in middle school and always wished it was black, so finding that was pretty cool.

This cuff bracelet is the bomb.com. I got it at the thrift store today for $3 from this really mean lady. It's from India and I know that, because it has a sticker on it that says "Made in India." It's tarnished and turning white and green in spots like I love.

When I took a jewelry class, I use to leave my pieces soaking in jars of sawdust and vinegar and/or this ammonia concotion to get them to turn green like that. It's kind of impossible to do it fast. It takes weeks and doesn't always even work.

The only thing that I didn't get that I really want is this Marc Jacobs shirt with a mermaid/merman battle going on. A portion of the shirt's proceeds go towards P-Town charity. Next time I'm at the Marc store, I'm definitely going to pick this up. I keep kicking myself for not getting it when I first saw it.
